     a secondary source about the history of the sport. We used it to get more

     information about the history behind football.

     Football, 2004.Web. 28 Jan. 2016. We used this website to find out how          ball

     games were played in the ancient era. This website provided us with      extra

     background information.

"Birth of Pro Football." Birth of Pro Football. Pro Football Hall of Fame, 24        

     Sept. 2014. Web. 6 Feb. 2016. This website provided us with information    

     about the creation and very beginning of the sport. We used this entry to

     provide support about the birth of pro football.

"The Business of Football." Forbes. Forbes Magazine. Web. 6 Feb. 2016. This  

     website gave us information of the value of each NFL team. We used it          our

     today tab.    

Trueman, Nigel. "RugbyFootballHistory.com." Rugby Football History. 2007.      

     Web. 18 Feb. 2016. This website told us about the sport of rugby. Football

     originated from rugby so we used this website to provide us with      

     information about the creation of football.

     Print. This source is a primary source from 1890. We used it to provide    

     insight on the views of the people of that time period.

Wall, Fredrick. 50 Years of Football. 1935. Print. This book is about the first        few

     years of football. We used it to add information to our beginnings            tab.

 

Process Paper

 

     We chose the topic of football and it’s influence around the world. The reason we chose this topic is because we all enjoy the sport of football, whether we are playing it, or watching it. One of the more interesting things about this popular sport is how it was created. With very minimal research, we decided on the topic we would do the project on. We conducted our research a little bit at a time. We began first by researching the basics about the creation of the sport and then got more in depth and specific. We created our website by categorizing and then adding the information to the different website tabs. Our topic fits this year’s theme, exploration, encounter, and exchange, because the idea of a new sport was encountered as the game of rugby was being played. From there, the new sport of football was explored further. Once the general rules of the sports were finalized, it was brought to other countries who continued to explore it further.
